On the computer having problems, go to Start -> Run -> type: ipconfig/all >C:\ipconfig.txt
Then go to My Computer -> C -> open ipconfig.txt
Paste those results here, then do the same on the laptop that works.
Thanks

Ok thanks. Also it doesnt give me a server error it just gives me a white page like its not displaying the contents on the page. Anyways here's the computer that works. . Ill put the other one up soon. It will take longer though. Does the Physical address thing have anything to do with my address. If so Ill post it. Not sure and dont want people know my address.

It means that a device gave your PC an IP address. Where your other one was set statically aka manually. What is the IP of the second one, you dont have to type everything just the IP.
Thanks

Well it was statically with a different ip and then i got an ip conflict error. Then I made it dynamic and it started working and then it stopped. Its still dynamic now but right now its 192.168.1.100. Ive also noticed that my computer isnt recieving nearly as many packets as it should. The recieved packets are extremely low. Right now sent is 57 and recieved is 8.

Can you repair the connection? Does it have any errors during that process.

Yea it works. when i repair it. Ive done it like 3 times.
Edit: Actually i just tried and it didnt work. It stops working at Renewing IP address. But then it connects to the network after.

I got little confused about current situation after the changes. But if I understand correctly it's still as it was in beging: IM software is working, web browser is not working, right?
Please do simple test:
Run Start-->Run... "CMD"
in CMD window type: ping www.google.com
It should sent 3 pings to Google servers
If it will reply go to (1)
If it won't reply go to (2)
(1)
If pinging www.google.com was succesfull check connection settings of your browser and look for Proxy configuration. Compare it with configuration on PC thats working correctly.
(2)
If pinging www.google.com was unsuccesfull post error message here.
But before you do that try the following:
1.Open your web browser
2. in address bar type one of the following addresses (you don't have to try all of them, one is enough if it works, Google page should appear):
209.85.135.99
209.85.135.104
209.85.135.103
209.85.135.147
If using IP address instead of URL (ex. www.google.com) works it seems that you have problem with DNS. IF DNS settings are the same on both computers, then the faulty one propably has DNS filtered out on Firewall. I don't know what kind of firewall are you using, but you must enable DNS on it (or port 53TCP and port 53UDP).
Let me know if it helped
