Okay, so I'm a mac noob. I'm trying to route my yahoo email to display with microsoft entourage, the mac email client. I tried it myself (it might not be even possible) and here's what I came up with:
Pop server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
and of course my yahoo id and password and stuff.
So, I get it all set up and ready, then like i'd try to send mail and it'd says:

The mail could not be sent
the server for the account "yahoo" returned the error
"authorization failed (#.5.7.0)" your username/ password
or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to
try re- entering your password?

So again, i dont know if this is even possible

To send through Yahoo Mail you need to have done a send/receive through the POP server relatively recently.
Failing that you should put your username and password in the appropriate sections for authentication so far as SMTP goes.
