Hi ....

I recently bought a new E-machine computer with Vista Home Premium loaded. I have had a problem extracting zip files. When I try to extract a zip file to the newly extracted folder, only one file ever gets loaded into the new extracted folder. I've tried this several times with different zip files. I don't have a problem with my other computer that has XP, but this Vista thing is puzzling. Any thoughts? I use the Vista extraction that is already built in. Again, I can't extract a zip file that has multiple files in it. It only extracts one file to the new folder.

thanks
Keith

I don't know if there is something about vista's zip compatability, but I prefer to use Winrar. It has a nag screen that goes away if you buy the software, but other than that it works great.
