Connection is Excellent but can't use Internet?

Well i can't remember how it started but all of a sudden I couldn't use the internet yet it says that the connection is Excellent but there is not way I can go online. So I tried repairing the connection but it says: Windows could finish repairing the problem becasue the following action can not be completed: Clearing the DNS Cache.

Please help! Thank you so much :whistling:

in the control panel open the administrative tools, click on the services icon and see if these services are running. DHCP client.. should be set to auto and running, then scroll down to DNS client,this as well, should be set to auto and runnning. if its running it wouldnt hurt to restart this as well as the dhcp service.
