Windows/ MSN messenger webcam problems

For some reason, I upgraded to windows messenger from MSN messenger. Since then, my webcam won't work. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling both programs, and I get the same error.

My camera is a US Robotics 3 com Big Picture and I use Win XP. I had to use some Hauppauge drivers, but that is not a problem in any of my other programs.

I can use ICUII, and Yahoo messenger, with no problems regarding my camera

I go to the toolbar for Windows and MSN and try to activate my camera and I always get the same message....Windows cannot connect to this webcam. Close any program that may be using this webcam and restart the wizard.

I don't know what other progam is using my cam cuz all appear to be off

Any help would be appreciatedl
