Has anyone heard about anything else about the new Zune 2.0 and mini Zune? I heard it was to come out for the holidays. Or anything about the new ipod that is going to come out?

Microsoft is staying tight lipped about the release of the new Zune line. Anything I have read has been completely conjecture and "someone told someone, who told someone, who told me that ..."

I'm sure Ive read the same things as you. New line, one flash based, in time for the holidays, etc. I am sure they will start announcing more shortly to start the hype before the holiday buying season.

I personally think the Zunes are ugly. They are kinda boxy and the button configuration seems a little funny to me. But maybe it is just me.

Just got some more info on the new zunes.

80GB version and a 4 and 8GB flash model

What do you guys think? I'm just wondering if the screen will be bigger or smaller on the Zune 2. The iPods have puny screens. That's why I like the Zunes.
