I downloaded a trial version of AVG anti-virus yesterday. Ever since then, my computer won't connect to the internet. I removed AVG, but still nothing.....I also called my internet provider, but they couldnt' figure out what was wrong. Everything seemed okay on their end and my 2 other computers connect fine. I'm getting very frustrated. Any suggestions?

Are the other two PCs running AVG, too? Do you use a broadband connection, wireless, wired with router or what to connect to internet? Have you try going to Control panel, selecting Network Connections then Local Area Connection or whichever one you are using. If wireless, pick that one. Check that button shows "Disable". If it does, select Support tab and click "Repair" button and let Windows repair connection. If you have the wireless icon in systray, just right-click and chose Repair. Post back with results.
