Hi!

I own an hp pavillion zv5000 laptop with an DVD/CD recording drive(TOSHIBA).My OS is XP Home

and my recording software is Nero Burning Rom 6x.
Nero`s system informations keeps telling me that i can use DVD+R disks.Recently bought

myself a brand new pack of TDK DVD´S (+R) but each time i try to create a data DVD I keep

getting the message that the disk its not a valid one (tryed all the 25 of them)...
Drving me nuts here...any sugestions...?
Appreaciate some help plz...

I would suggest checking the model number of the DVD drive, then looking it up on their site to be certain of its capabilities.
go to device manager-right click my computer icon, select manage.
select device manager in the menu that appears.
go to CD/DVD drives, click the plus, this will tell you what make/model your drive is.
then you can make sure the drive is capable of handling +R...
