Just installed this and now it keeps telling me I can't run any live updates and giving me error code LU1860 and LU1862 but now it won't let me delete any of the host files. I also found one called Mediatick.ae I haven't a clue what it is, not very good at this sort of thing. Any advice from anybody would be very much appreciated.

Been onto the symantec webiste, spoke to one of their technical people all the stuff he told me to do hasn't worked, including running anti-virus programmes etc.

just to verify have you followed the instructions here: http://service1.syma...004072814581213

If you have and it still is causing issues, then I think a visit to the malware forum would be in order.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
