I'm selling a domain, and they've asked for the database aswell. Is it safe to give them this? Thanks.

I'm in the domain business as well and its quite suspicious as to why they want the database when all they need is to check with Whois and get all the info they need. Never give out any passcode to your register. Are you DNF?.

Usually the database of a site would be included as part of the sale. Especially, if it's a blog, forum, etc. However, I would never provide it before the sale. It's always a good idea to protect yourself and your buyer with a non-disclosure agreement when entering any negotiation.
