Friend is havin problem with computer screen

She said the screen keeps flashing black and then it freezes. She's tried to unplug and reboot the computer..etc. Anyone kno how to fix this?

sounds like the monitor drivers are bad. find out who makes the monitor, then scour their website for drivers for that specific monitor (usually have to look at the product number)

best to update drivers for everything, but the video card and monitor drivers are the first that would make this prob
