I'm using Windows XP Professional. I use the program called 'Hide Files and Folders' to password-protect/lock my folders and files. Today I got tricked into downloading some '.exe' file from a bogus site which not surprisingly contained a virus threat. AVG (Free Edition) warned me about it and sent a few files to the Virus Vault, some with '.exe' at the end of it but most if not all had bogus looking names like 'gdhffb.exe' so I thought nothing of it but good riddance.

Just a few mins back though I had to open a file that was of course locked by Hide Files and Folders. I click to open HFF (Hide Files & Folders program) and it gives me this:

(Screenshot taken when I attempted to uninstall HFF in the hopes that that will let me access my folders/files again but to no avail, still the same message)

It cannot find/execute 'hffsrv.exe' and in turn wont let me open HFF - so all my files and folders are on hold! I don't know what to do, PLEASE help. :whistling:  Thank you.
