I'm not sure were to go with this so here goes. I need to send some faxes from my desktop. I have a DSL line and no fax modem. Is there a way that I can still fax documents using the DSL?

WXP and W2K both have fax service but you need a modem to use it. I don't know of a way to use dsl to send faxes since there is no "dial up". You could try a google search. I seem to recall there are web based or email based fax services out there (probably for a fee). Once again, Google it and see what you find!

Austin is correct, there are fax for fee and fax for free that will insert advertising atop your fax.
