Here's my problem: My spyware scans keep turning up Darksma, Virtumonde, WinAntiVirus, and several others. They all seem to be blocked but whenever I scan, they're still there.

When I use Firefox, windows from IE keep popping up. Also, a blank page pops up like this: [PLEASE DO NOT CLICK THE LINK I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS OR WHAT IT DOES!!!!!]>

And in the address bar, it always has the name of the page I was on when it popped up. I think it's a tracking cookie but I don't know.

My Spybot results always turn up a bunch of tracking cookies. It's the same ones every time. I try removing all cookies but that doesn't work. Nothing I've tried seems to work.

Now my desktop keeps disappearing and sometimes there's no background. Instead there will be a white screen with a giant triangle and exclamation point. it has a button that says restore active desktop or something. If I follow the directions, my desktop background comes back but its happened a couple of times.

ALSO: yesterday, my computer shut down on its own and a blue screen came up saying i had suffered from a serious ERROR and it was scary. i work from my computer so i dont know what to do?\

thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!!!!

Please follow the procedures outlined here: Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum
