New browser window is too small- wont maximize

When opening a new window, occasionally the window is too small and will not maximize. Only a portion of the page's content is visible. This has occurred when my son logs in to Webkinz.com. When I access the Webkinz account through firefox instead of IE, it works fine.

Have you tried dragging the side of the window with your mouse?

Yes- It didn't allow me to enlarge the window that way.
