<_< hello all im new to all of this but it looks cool
i have just build a buget system for a custmer
with a pc chips board (come on its a buget system)
a xp+ 2.4
and 256 ddr
and when i turn the computer on i gat a msg that says cmos memorey wrong cmos settings wrong

now do i chance this in the bios or a jumper on the board

any healp wolud be g8

Sounds like that's the default message when the BIOS recognizes a new memory setting. Just enter the BIOS, save defaults, and reboot. :D
