I reinstalled XP on a Dell PC after replacing the hard drive. Device manager identified the SM BUS controller as not being associated with a driver. The Dell Web site was no help, as usual. Does anyone know where I can find a driver for this? :tazz:

You need to install driver for the 'System Management Bus' (ie motherboard driver) which is not included with Windows. Which driver you need depends on the manufacturer of the motherboard CHIPSET (not the board maker). Common mobo chipset manufacturers are :
Intel

NVIDIA

VIA
