Hello everyone this is my first post

I have just bought a new laptop, it has come with vista 32bit.

I was wondering if you could upgrade it to 64bit by changing setting???
Or do you have to buy totally new software???

Thanks :whistling:

No, you'll have to buy the 64 bit version.

Oh okay,

Would you say it worth the upgrade? (And how much does it cost?)

Thanks :whistling:

If you like an increase in speed, decreased compatability and driver issues, as well as many software issues, its awesome! Too expensive for an OS personally. If you want to try a x64 os and don't play games, use linux.

At this time, there isn't any advantage to going to 64bit. Most applications won't take advantage of it. Your better off staying where your at.

I personally run 64bit with out any issues. However, I chose to do so because I will be supporting it soon enough at work.
