Ok, the internet isnt working for my laptop. Obviously. I let my grandmother borrow it when she went on vacation and she messed it up. It says im connected locally to my home connection, or, "unidentified network" but it wont connect to the internet. Im kind of slow at this stuff. So, please answer in as much detail as possible?

And so I thought about it,
So, I gathered that somethings wrong with my IP address, maybe renew it or something?
I'm just not sure how, I've tried the whole "ip config/release" and "ip config/renew" thing,

And,
Apparently my media's disconnected ::

"No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected"
Friggin' Media Sense? =_='
Am I suppose to disable it?
How? ._.
