I would try another download mirror. Might be corrupted for some reason.

Also, what are your system specs? That might have something to do with it as well.

Pixel shader 3.0 and higher are required to run this game. You video card doesn't have support for these functions and for this reason will not run this game.

Well, from what I see, the minimum system specs require pixel shader 3.0.

1.2 Minimum System Requirements
-------------------------------

CPU: P4 2.5 GHz single core.
System RAM: 1GB
Video Card: Pixel Shader 3.0 compliant video card with 128 Meg Ram and floating point frame buffer blending.
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
Hard Drive: 7 GB

Yes, you need an nvidia 6600 or better to be able to play this game.

Yes, I posted the incorrect information, I ment to say 3.0, finger hit the wrong key. Currently there is alot of pressur on 2k to change this in a patch and make the game available to users will pixel shader 2.0, not to mention the DRM issues with the game. They are slowly giving lea way on several issues and hopefully they will release a patch for users with pixel shader 2.0, it would open them to a much wider audience if they did so.
That being said, thanx for pointing out my mistake.
