This "Outlook is Synchronizing Folders" makes my new laptop completely crawl to a near stop.

How can I remove it?

Is it necessary or just a function that improves searches?

Much thanks! :whistling:

It has only been a couple of days but I have reduced the synchronizing time to seconds instead of minutes by going to Folder Properties (main folder heading, as in Personal Folders, not individual folders), and un- ticking "Automatically Generate Microsoft Exchange Views" I have no idea what I've done but it works for me, so far.

Regards,
