i have a home network problem....
I have three computers i'm trying to network together...about a yr ago i set up this network to share common files and so that they all could print off one computer...

recently i can't share the printer or share files from one of my desktop which is the host computer...i have one wireless laptop and 2 wired desktops total. when i describe the problem i will say desktop (host), desktop (hallway), and laptop.

What works:
the laptop and hallway desktop can share files fine and appear in each others workgroup of MSHOME

What doesnt work:
laptop can't print to printer that is on the host desktop
hallway desktop can't print from the host desktop either
only Host computer is visiable in workgroup of MSHOME

pings
The laptop can ping the two desktops
The Host can ping the the Hall desktop but not the laptop
The Hall desktop can ping the Host but not the laptop

Facts on hallway desktop

I think router and switch isn't causing the problem.

With regards to the printing, please verify that your network printer is shared and you have adde or installed on the hallway desktop and laptop as network printer.
