hey everyone,

I have a linksys router model WRT54GS Version 4.0

I have version FiOS and they gave me a router with it that is on my second floor, that one is fine. I have a second router in my basement for my Wii and my downstairs PC. This router is connected to the Verizon FiOS router via Ethernet cable running from the top to bottom of my house. All works well but my linksys router (the one downstairs) "jams up" on me and I have to unplug every five to ten minutes while on the net. Unlike other problems I have read, when the router "jams up" on me, my computer still recognizes it and still is connected to it. I can access the router by typing in 192.168.0.1 on my browser but I can't access any websites. I'm wondering how I can fix this (if I can)

I appreciate anyone's help

Thanks

Robert

P.S.
I have already tried changing the channel number and removing all firewall settings on the router. Also, the Jamming up only seems to happen when I access more than one server at a time (for example going on two different sites at the same time.)
