Is there a way to just copy the actual hyperlink URL in the outlook 2003
reading pane. so I can just paste it into the URL field of an already open
browser of my choice?

Thanks,
James

You have to highlight the link first (left-click from one end and drag to other end) then right-click and select COPY. Then PASTE into browser.

that works if the link is actyally the URL.

but, what if the actual hyper link is something like "click here" where the underlying URL is http://www.geekstogo.com

your method would paste the words "click here" into my URL... This is a feature that I really like in the netscape mail reader.
