I was trying to connect two computers together with cat6 crossover cable.

It said that there is limited or no connection.

I went over toturial and it still not working...

Can any one tell me waht is the problem?

what have you tried so far?
have you set static ip addresses on the computers? (if you don't know what i mean...you probably didn't)

on each computer can you press start, then run, then type "cmd" (without quotes), then type "ipconfig /all" (again...no quotes) and then post the results from both machines?

What is the reason for you to connect a crossover cable between two machines?

Transferring files? Internet Connection Sharing? Please let me know...

can you describe IN DETAIL your physical setup? is one of the machines connected to the internet? if so how?

I am connecting two computers for file and printer sharing plus for an internet sharing(later)

One of mine computers is connected to the internet by dial up modem

I do not know what happend but today I tried to connect my computers again, and on the main computer says "Connected"
by some reason on the other computer it still "there is no or limited connection"

Can you help me on what can I do to make it work on both comuters...
