Whenever I try to open a folder, desktop icon, etc, using windows explorer, I get the same error message that DrWatson's Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. The computer freezes at this point, and I have to hit ctrl-alt-del to use the Windows Task Manager to log off. I read the "you must read this before posting a hijack this" page, and have downloaded AD-AWARE SE, CWS SHREDDER, SPYBOT S&D, and HIJACK THIS. I have visited the Windows Update page and it said I was current with all updates. I ran the AD-AWARE SE, CWS SHREDDER, and SPYBOT S&D. What should I do next? (Also, at the same time I experienced the problem with windows explorer, the sound stopped working, both through the speakers and earphone jack - is it related?)
