Hi all I need some help please. Oct helped me over in the virus/malware area and now I am having other problems so I thought I would come in here for advise and help. I keep getting when shutting down error messages that there is a corrept file then it shuts down. Well I cant do a screen print to put in here and it is so fast I dont get the message to write down. So this is problem 1. The next problem I have a screen print which I am putting up in here for you to see. I wanted to run a scan disk check and I keep getting the error message I am posting.
Please advise.
Thanks Debra :whistling:

You have errors on your drive. If you run checkdisk /f, then that will probably fix your other error.

Go to my computer/ right click your HD/ tool tab/ error checking (check now)/ check the box "automatically fix file system errors"/ click start.

This runs the cheskdisk /f function.

If it wants to run at startup, say yes and allow it.

Thank you I did it per your instructions. I will wait and see if there are any more error messages. I was wondering what ever happened to the old way of going to start/programs/accessories/system tools/disk defrag or cleanup?
Again thank you. Debra

You can get those thru accessories, except checkdisk (scan disk) is not there.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.
