I decided I wanted to play some of my Nintendo DS games online. I have a netgear wg111t/WGR614V7 wireless router. When I searched for an access point with my ds it said my security settings are incorrect. I need them to be WEP. I tried going to the site on the back of the router, routerlogin.net, but the username and password aren't being accepted, even though I'm entering what they posted on the back of the router. The netgear smart wizard, whatever it's purpose, refuses to stay open for more than half a second. I have no idea what I'm trying to do, as I don't understand this stuff. The support site for netgear says you can only get phone support if your product was purchased 90 days ago or less. Other than that you have to pay a ridiculous amount. If anyone could help me out, I'd be ever so grateful. Thanks :whistling:

try this for netgear...

* The router username is always admin
* The default password is password or (for older routers) 1234

Try the default username and password before resetting the router to the factory defaults.

in case you have to reset the username and password...go here..

The passwords don't work. And I'm afraid I don't know any information about the router to set it back up again if I were to reset it.

easiest way.. hold down the reset button in the back of the router... then use the default username and password to enter the console.
