just a question, is it possible to give 1 computers spare RAM, that isnt being used, to another pc??
Is there a program that does this?

Just wonderig because i rember there use to be a thing were you could devote some processing power to climate change or something and was wondering if its possible across a small LAN network as i have got a main pc that i'm using for map compiling/editing which usess lots of processing power and two laptops that are only doing word documents and email, so i would like to give it a boost

Just thinking aloud

short answer...no this isn't possible

there are methods for sharing processing power between two machines...but they require having an OS capable of clustering (and knowledge of how to cluster)
