Flash disk problem

i am having a problem with my flash disk. after installing virtual cd 6 software, my computer recognized my flash disk as a virtual drive. every time i plug in my flash disk and click on My Computer, it says that my flash disk is a virtual drive and it has no icon. so i uninstalled the virtual cd 6 but the normal flash disk icon still does not appear. but when i plug it in another pc, there is an icon. this only happens with this specific flash disk. searched my registry too for the virtual cd6 and deleted all entries. my OS is XP.
i need your inputs please. any help would be appreciated.
