One last question: Can I delete those HijackThis, Ad-Aware, SpyBot, AGV Quarantine BackUp Logs?? Or is it safer to leave them where they are??

It's wise to leave them for a few days just to ensure everything's working okay. Then you can delete them.

Also... Can I delete any file (such as .exe or .dll) that carries the name P2P Networking??

Yes, you should be able to without causing any problems.

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN <_<

How's your system working? If everything seems to be working okay you can delete the Hijack This folder in a couple weeks.

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

Hey! <_<

My system's working fine. Better than before! Like I said before, it's much faster now and it doesn't take so long to shut it down like it did before.

I'll leave HijackThis in my computer for a few weeks like you told me... It makes me nervous deleting things now since everything is working fine... but it should be fine right?!!

It's great to know that Internet Explorer is coming out with Pop Up Blocker at the end of the month... It's about time! I hope they don't make it just for Windows XP...

Oh... I've read here before that it's not very good to have two AntiVirus Programs running on the computer... I Have McAfee and the one I just downloaded AVG... Can I delete McAfee and have no problems in the future?? Can I just keep AVG or is AVG one of those 30 day trial things??

Thank you very much Admin!!! :D

You're welcome! <_<

Deleting those files shouldn't cause any problems. The Google Toolbar also has a very good built-in pop-up blocker. AVG is every bit as good as Norton or McAfee, there's no time limit on the free version, but tech support is extra, if required.

Don't forget about Spywareblaster, it doesn't use any system resources, and prevents most spyware infections.
