Anytime I restart I get this error box

"svchost.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

hard to say, as svchost is a generic process.

A lot of nasty problems will use this host to hide from view....your first bet should be a trip to the malware forum
