It appears that I have lost/misplaced/corrupted the codecs for media player 10 to play wmv files. Since last used I have modified the hosts list but have no idea what that might have done to media player. I just downloaded FSPlayer to run a check and it will not play the files either.

Update to my problem... I went and got VLC media player, saw the link on another post here, and have no troubles running it, all my media plays. Thanks
