conventional memory issue

i am having a problem trying to play the computer game "the even more incredible machine" when i go into command prompt and type in the command to run tim.bat i recieve the error message "you do not have enough memory to run this program. you currently have 598688 free bytes of conventional . you need at least 600000 free bytes of conventional memory.

In days of old, one could rearrange parts of programs in memory in order to get something else working.
However with XP, this is no longer possible.

According to Google, because of the age of this game, it will not work under XP.
You may be able to get it to run in Dosbox, however its no guarantee:
