A note this program you recommend only compares it to what the developers say the lowest specs are. It tells me

and

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 or higher (AMD Athlon X2 5000+ or higher)
You Have: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+

yet i have been playing that game for well over a month now without problems :whistling:

The game in question is Phantasy Star Online 2. I'm not sure why they say you need a 5000+ athlon to play it :lol:

Mine says cant run bioshock. But still playing the game but a little bit lag.

Hello all,

I am trying to find a laptop for my daughter.  She is attending an online college and her old laptop needs to be replaced.  I have searched all over for a laptop I can afford and I have found a few.  All of them have the right software but they differ in memory, processor speed, and disk space.  She will be using one drive so I guess disk space is not a priority but I could use some advice on which laptop is best for productivity programs from this list http://technemag.com/best-student-laptops-under-500-2017. Is there a difference in performance between AMD and Intel?
