This error message appears when trying to open a few files in my documents. They are avi files and the error occurs when opening the file there in or if i can get further when i try to play in windows media player.
The error message starts of with Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close, when I hit dont send another pop up appears saying Windows Explorer has encounted a problem etc and when i close that box i get the Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger error message. I dont always get the dr watson message though, but sometimes i just get the winds explorer or media player error.
I can open these avi files using another media player but its just using windows media player they dont work. The files im trying to open have only recently had this error message and have worked fine previously.
