Unable to view graphics in Office 2003 word doc

I recently reinstalled Office 2003 professional on a users system and now am unable to view graphics in any view but Reading Layout.

It appears like the graphic is there but only the margins show up, no image.

Any assistance in finding a solution would be greatly appreciated
