I had the trojan.killav virus even tho running fully updated/current Norton Internet Security 2007
No control panel, "file restrictions" error messages- cannot make certain mods eg- add/remove progs...
Came upon prev posts by other having same problems,
followed the solution steps, all seemed to go well
but still no internet access,
default page auto set back to google but page unavailable as are any others I try.
I Thought I eliminated annoying
"Windows Security Alert" window with message: "Warning, Potential Spyware operation. Your computer is making unauthorized copies..."
apparently all went well...
But it's BAAACK!
I'm working off another computer with Internet access
