Pliz help me,i have a problem with my PC.this pc was bought from an auction sale and did not have a hard drive,i bought it and put it in the machine,but the pc could not work.i then removed the cmos battery for two days and when i tried to put it back the monitor does not show a thing,but the power is fine since the fan is running and the keyboard does not respond either.where did i go wrong?

Ensure that your video card/memory and all of your cables are correctly seated. Check /clean any dust (compressed air can) from your system. Usually when nothing comes up it is a Video Card (in my experience) so I would check there.

One question though. Were you able to get to the cmos screen before putting the hard drive in? No problem if you didn't just have to trouble shoot now.
