Im not sure exactly how to fix this problem of mine, I try to make my headset microphone work, it worked before and I tried it on other computers and it worked just fine. it doesnt even detect anything in the mic jack anymore. i have a feeling that it has something to do with a window that kept popping up whenever i plugged in my mic before. it asked what I plugged in, like for example, mic, or input device, or etc. I got annoyed by it eventually, and clicked the "do not ask again" button and closed it, now it doesnt detect anything. I dont know how to make that window pop up anymore, so it would help to know how to do that again. Vista loves to give me problems left and right... :whistling:

I have a problem with this too. What you have to do is turn on mic boost. To get to mic boost you go to your contol pannel then recording and then right click on your mic and click properties. Then find mic boost through the tabs and check the box for it. The problem is that every time you restart your computer it unchecks the box makeing you have to check the box every time.
