My HP does not come with a system restore disk. Apparently, the function is saved on the hard drive. How do I perform full system restore and reset my PC to the manufacturer's specs?

Thanks for the assistance... but, apparently what's supposed to be there isn't.

The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'hp pc system recovery.lnk' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again.

Can I recover the system recovery? Can I download this from HP? Is my best bet to purchase disks from HP?
