I have a graph of a quadratic function that I create with a series of data points and now I need add a tangent line to one of the values. I know the slope of this line, but how can I put it on the graph and know for sure that it's perfectly tangent? I would just draw in a line, but that's incredibly inaccurate. I'm thinking maybe I can use a series of new data points and graph a second function on the same chart. How would I do that?

Thanks.
