Does this mean I will be losing all my data, files, installs etc. and have to redo everything? Not clear on this.

OK but right now caught up a bit in other life concerns so will struggle a bit with the two accounts and then when I have time to really be on my toes re PC matters will tackle the job.

I have to keep stats for school concerns on my PC for a whole semester to input into the big school PC so want to make sure I don't lose them through being a novice and goofing things up.

Keep you posted when I do tackle the job. And again thanks for following this thread and helping me out.

Back at last to report finally have reached my goal of just two computer accounts now - the system administrator account and a user account. Took me quite a while and much moving around of files, studying all the posts here and finding a couple of articles online that addressed the issue. But reached my goal. So feel the thread can be closed and again thanks to all who helped me so generously along the way.
