I was surfing ebay and came across some nicley priced good looking external hard drives...

I would just like to know if these are good quality and what is up with the rock mobile disk logo on them when it says its seagate ....I am looking to hold music movies applications etc on the drive..

Do they look pocket size to you? What is the difference between the two?

They are fine. The Rock Mobile is the brand of the Harddrive ENCLOSURE/casing. Seagate makes the harddrive that goes in it. You can also goto online shops like newegg.com or tigerdirect.com and buy a harddrive and harddrive enclosure separately.

They are smaller than the normal harddrive enclosures but not pocket sized.. You can get these slimmer enclosures or the little bit bigger ones..

Look at the specs of the unit you are buying.

Dimension - 8" x 4 1/2" x 1" for both of them..

I bought a Rock Mobile Hard drive fron a power seller on EBAY. It did not have a Seagate drive in it. It had a Magnatic Data Technology. It was recertified, not new and it contained several folders of explicit pornographic images.
