Hi there. . .

For the past couple weeks, my monitor has been going completely white if I leave the computer alone for a few hours. If I spend a couple minutes turning it off and on, and moving the moue (not sure if that actually does anything), the screen eventually returns to normal. Once its operating again, there are no more problems, until I leave it for a few hours again. The monitor is only a year old, so I didn't think it should be having problems this quickly.
Does anyone know what the issue might be? is it fixable, or do I need to get a new monitor?
Thanks,

Kevin

Most flatscreen monitors come with 3yr warranties now and that is not normal behaviour. If you have a 3yr warranty, use it.

yep sounds like a monitor issue.... check your warranty... could be a harness but could also be the screen itself... if you have another computer you could hook it up on there and see if you get the same results... if you do then that proves it's the monitor and not the computer...
