Initial problem: Limewire tries to connect itself constantly. I have it blocked by ZoneAlarm for now.

I think my roommate downloaded a .rar file from Limewire, thinking it was a movie.

According to the Limewire website, I may have a version of the Alcra virus/worm.



I have run the brute force uninstaller with alcanshorty.bfu, following the directions on another thread of this forum.

I have run an updated version of Spybot S&D.
