hello not sure if this is even where i need to post this....but anywhoos...
the other day my son was on the computer and he had downloaded a music program that i have never heard of. well since he has done that it messed everything up on the computer...
it added a google toolbar thingy..(got rid of that)
it changed my home page and then it even took my wallpaper off and changed it to just black..
well i got rid of the program that he downloaded but for some reason i cant change my wallpaper at all!
it opens up and wont let me do anything the only thing i can do is chnage the color from black to what ever..

if you have any ideas how to fix this please let me know!
thanks!

Open up the picture you want and right click on it and set it as Desktop Wallpaper.

If you have your XP cd, put it in and go to Start -> Run -> type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes and hit enter.

IF YOU RIGHT CLICK ON DESKTOP GOT TO PROPERTIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST YOU WILL SEE CUSTOMIZE DESKTOP CLICK ON THAT GO TO THE WEB TAB. IF THERE IS A SITE THERE DELETE IT. IF THERE IS NO SITE CLICK ON MY HOMEPAGE PRESS OK THEN APPLY. THEN WHEN YOUR HOME PAGE SHOWS UP GO BACK DO THE SAME THING EXCEPT DESELECT YOUR HOME PAGE. APPLY SHOULD BE FIXED.
