look! im desperate. ..

i have an intel D865GBF mainboard and a USB camera.. the device manager shows 4 different kinds of USB Host Controllers installed and a 5th one with the yellow exclamation mark in the "other devices" section. i cannot find any driver for that. the problem is that when i connect my camera to any USB port. it recognizes the new hardware,, then i install the driver for the camera and it works great... but the problem is that once i restart my system and try to access the cam again.. the whole system freezes and reboots itself... i think its because of the USB Host Drivers but i could be wrong... neone who's got ne ideas bout this probb.. mail me at [email protected] ASAP. cuz i need help bad...

Intel P4 original 2.66 GHz, intel D865GBF mainboard , 256 MB DDR, 30 Gb HDD, NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX440 3-D ACC. card,

There's a good chance your camera software could be conflicting with XP. Have you checked the camera mfg's website to see if the software is XP compliant, and/or if there's an update available?
