Hey everyone.

I just got my laptop back from the Acer repair facility. It was my sisters old laptop but its now mine because she got a new one since this took weeks to get back.

They replaced the motherboard and the hard drive. I have a problem though.

I go to disable the Ethernet driver, its a Realtek driver but everytime I restart the computer, it becomes undisabled and its annoying because I dont need it because I go around the house with my internal wireless.

How can I keep it disabled even when I restart the computer?

You can try to uninstall this driver instead of disabling it. After reboot system will seek for drivers but there should be an option "never search for drivers for this device" or something like that.
