hey all,
just wanted to know if there was a way i could compress all my music files, and still play them back without having to extract them. ?
is it possible ?

Depending on the type of music files you wish to compress, you will have to find a program that will do that for you. Here's some info from Micro$oft: Compressing sound files. You can Google for more information.

If the files are standard WAV files, compressing them to MP3 format will save obscene amounts of drive space and all media players can play MP3s.
